Will my credit score my ability to purchase a car?
I'm 26 yrs. old, have a credit score of 435 and earn an annual income of 35,000 (before taxes). Will I be able to lease a car? Also, I have a repo in my history but that's paid off and was in Nov. 05'. I do not want a loan. Just want to put a few thousand down for a used certified car if possible.

Is the Capital One car loan pre approval a scam?
I ask because I recieved a pre approval in the mail, that was not requested by me, telling me that it was valid only on a certain date and to speak to a specific peson at a specific dealership. The man works there but was not available. I wanted to hear it from him that it was legit and all of the salesmen insisted that it was and wanted to " get me in a car" a little to eager being that they had nothing I would even want there.
